Maybe you are just being a bit too hard on yourself and DH. You have achieved a fantastic amount, and hit your debt free goal. Did you take a wee breather, and celebrate your success, before moving on to the next challenge?

Your hard work has meant that you can weather this latest set back far better than you could have done a year ago. Give yourself a big pat on the back and DH a big hug, and look forward to the baby coming. You're going to make great, responsible parents.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

Hi. Yes I decided to carry on as a motivator and savings diary and i'm really glad I did now! Still waiting for the baby and eating lots of fruit/pineapple etc. Trying to get things moving...
DH visa- still not heard. Last we heard, our case was being dicussed at no. 10 downing st.! Wish they'd hurry up tho! Bit of a mare really. We just want to live our lives. Anyway, i'm going to chase it up once the baby is here and we are a bit more settled.
I'm trying to get loads of rest but it's hard to sleep at the mo. Hoping the baby will come soon. We are dying to meet him!

Ok today I've finally recieved my cheque book so have been able to send off a cheque to BM e-savings for our Christmas cash of £89.30. I have also got money owed from dh in the bank and the money owed by our friend of £56. So our savings total is up by £56! Brill! I still ned to walk into town to cash the baby cheque we got the other day but I just can't face it today! I might try and go in later once dh is back. His foot is much better thank the lord! So he's gone fishing...and will be going to work tomorrow! Yay! So we will have slightly more money than I thought this month.

Thanks B. I'm annoyed at the moment. dh has 'lost' £20. I am so sick of his never ending b*llsh*t. Honestly. Apparently he had it in his pocket yesterday and when it came to paying it into the bank today...he had lost it. Funny, he was out yesterday and got pretty drunk.... I wonder if there is a correlation there?

Sometimes I wish i'd never met him , let alone married him. It;s one thing after another. It never ends.

Hi Jaks Sorry to hear you are feeling down at the moment. Some men don't seem to have any idea some of the time. Theres me busy saving and other half looking on the internet for things he's thinking of buying!

Keep positive remember how well you have done and the journey you have made. Remember how you would feel now if you still had all your debt.
Take Care. Get plenty of rest and look forward to the baby's arrival.
