please could someone give me a simple recipe for blackberry jam and marrow chutney that dont use many ingredients am going picking in morning

From the Good housekeeping cooking encyclopedia.
Advice is to use slightly under-ripe blackeberries as they contain more pesctin.
Bramble Jelly:
4 lbs blackeberries
juice of 2 lemons
450 ml of water
sugar
Simmer the washed blackberries with lemon juice for about 1 h or until fruit is soft and pulped. strain through a jelly cloth.
Measure the extract, return to the pan and add 1 lb of sugar per pint of extract.
Stir until sugar is dissolved and boil rapidly until a "jell" is obtained. Pot and cover in the usual way.I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0
