I don't think you'll be able to cancel it without paying the cancellation fee, which would normally be the amount of line rental you'd be required to pay until the end of you current agreement.

Nope, you are out of your 14 days "trial" period so you can't just return the phone.

The only option is to pay off the line rental as LB1985 says.

10 months you would have to pay off x £14.75 unless there is a cheaper plan you can reduce to ie £12 x 10 months, sometimes you can only downgrade your price plan after 6 months which is a while for both of you.

If you are both wanting new contracts with new phones and new numbers you can sell your current phones to pay off the line rental left as above.

Other than those options, you agreed a new 12 ? month term so you are liable for line rental and call charges over your free minutes until your out of contract.

Why do you want to cancel , just because there are other good deals around ?

What do you mean by this ?
Contracts are rolling and do not need renewing. Do you mean that you re-negotiated a better deal or a new phone ? If so then quite rightly you will not get out of it, If not then you should just be subject to 30 days/ 1 month notice.
    To infinity and beyond!
