Thank You Martin, I did wonder
But I'm sure I saw the "Deal Of The Day" on Simple Money TV, as I have had Sky since 1989 WOW!! and used to watch the money style prog's.
The late Adam Faith did a money channel prog too did you have anything to do with that ???
Thanks0 -
Noooo Adam Faith ran 'The Money Channel' - they were much more stocks and shares.
'Simply Money' got less publicity. It was fronted by Angela Rippon and Jan Harvey, with me as the in-house expert
(I saw Angela and Jan a couple of weeks ago and both are in fine form).Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

First heard of MSE from my wife's hairdresser. I'm not sure if that makes the hairdresser catagory i) or k), whatever.
Anyway it's a great read. Actions to date: AMEX Card, and duel fuel supplier switch, which should free up £120 or so. Many thanks.0 -

One sunday (I think) afternoon, we were driving around bored (I believe we were passing Monkeyworld at the time) and Martin was extolling the virtues of Balance Transfers. It made so much sense that I went straight home and visitied the site. That was in Nov 03 and I haven't looked back!
