8GB iPhone no longer avail?

I ordered an 8GB iPhone from an O2 store recently. It was supposed to arrive yesterday but when I rang them they said that they were having 'supply problems' and couldn't tell me when it would arrive. Since then I've rung around other stores and tried online - everyone keeps on telling me that it's no longer available. Does this mean that they've discontinued the model? Or is it just out of stock?

well .i don't think so the person who needs more memory then they will preferable for it
well its a good mobile & based on advanced technology mobile
as per the my knowlege i think nokia is the only producer who put the 8 GB model in the market & they provides the best features like GPS system i thinknon other mobile producer company provides the GPS system excepting this0 -
Don't quote me on this but I think as the current iPhone is not 3G they are getting rid of these as I think there is a 3G iPhone coming out soon so maybe there is no more stock or they don't want to stock it anymore to make way for the new 3G and I would say dearer version.
HTHIf you have a problem fix it, if you can't fix it don't worry because it will happen anyway!0 -
the supply of 8gb has completely run out, some stores may have some left but not many. i don't think they will be back in stock until the new 3g one comes out in june. I work for o2 and we have been told that it has run outThe only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about - Oscar Wilde:beer:

the only problem with unlocking the iphone is that apple do a lot of updates and when they do an update it can re-lock the handsetThe only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about - Oscar Wilde:beer:

bringmeshoes,
no problem there- just unlock again, assuming that it doesn't need to be jailbroken and activated. If it does, then do all three again......and then the window licker said to me...0 -
