Me again. I have a water meter which was fitted free by my local water authority. Before I had the meter I was payiing £28 per month for water. I'm now paying £12.00 per month and this is set to reduce as apparently I've been paying too much for the last year. It may be worth contanting your local water authority and see what they say. I live on my own and it's a massive saving that I can chuck at my debts.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Hey there Bigun
Don't worry and don't get flustered
There are loads of people here who will be happy to help you get things in order
Now don't take this the wrong way but I take it there are 2 of you in the household? You say your partnet pays for the food for example? Do you share all household outgoings? How does it work? Don't mean to pry as some people have his and hers and so on - I'm the same - OH and I have different bills we cover - ie I cover nearly all the house hold bills and he deals with the mortgage payments which cost far more but he earns more etc
It just makes it easier to understand that's all
Your water bill seems pretty high too? Is thi in arrears like the gas and electric? How much in arrears are these?
Telephone, internet and mobile... you can get this MUCH cheaper - have you had a look around?
