What I know is that you must request a pac from the network provider who are obligated to send it to you and will cancel the contract at the same time. You will then have a set number of days(typically 30) to get it moved onto your new network(either payg or contract). It is this 2nd bit that I am a bit fuzzy about. What is the procedure involved? If I want to move my number to an existing payg sim card, do I call up the network provider for the sim card and give them the pac? Is this all that is required?
Wrong, a PAC lasts for 30 days but if it is not given to another network provider, your existing contract will continue with no cancellation! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
