I dont know if we can afford to get married???

    i got married 2 yrs ago nearly and spent £18k on the wedding. only to have people moaning about where they were sat etc. i mean they were there werent they! anyway i talked to a chap once who decided with his other half to go to a register office with the kids & witnesses (i.e. parents) get married - sorted
    they then invited all their friends for a barbecue (summer time) they hired a live band in their garden (disco too) and announced their wedding to everyone there so no pressure for presents for guests just everone having fab relaxed time!
    £500 sorted i cant fault him what a fab idea
