Many thanks and gratitude to channel 5,IPTW and ML, I had never heard of ML or this site. Before I watch IPTW
* hangs head in shame*

I was already quite savvy with money, or so I thought till my MSE discovery.

But you guys and Martin will have helped save further £'s, which on the back of the economic climate has been an additional lifeline.:D

Keep up the good work Martin:A , there are still plenty who need your advice/ convertion/ LBM.:T

Just in case, I only have added the link so you can see other people's views on another site, (some selfish, I know).

My position is that I am very grateful to have found this site, to every one of its member who give and provide help and support.
This was a great idea, a lot was spent to open this site and maintain it and good for Martin if in someway this has helped him on his career.
I'm glad other people who don;t know about this site is able to know about savings, specially now when live is very expensive and times are getting worse economically.
There was a time when I use to be ashamed to use coupons , now at home we fight them all at the stores and use them as most as we can.

You say he's using you...but then go on to say its "basic common sense anyway" thats a bit contradictory is it not? If he's using what individuals post then that would imply that the information posted was unique in some way and not "basic common sense" as you put it.

Secondly, if it's the "worst show on CH5" why are you watching it so often you know it's the "same stuff every week? "

Can I suggest you try using your own common sense and perhaps turn the TV over?

The funny thing about the comments from the HUKD users is that very often you'll find the MSE users asking people to acknowledge the fact that a deal may well have been posted there first, its a shame they don't have the same courtesy for MSE users but hey ho it takes all sorts.

What users forget when having a go at people from their keyboard is that it is real people that are reading what is being said and just recently there has been a trend to have a go at Martin and his team who are working hard to bring the email to more than 2 million readers quite apart from spending days, nights and w/ends to update articles as situations change as has happened in the last week or so. These comments can and do hurt the people involved and I often wonder if they would speak to them face to face in the same manner.

IPTW brings Martin and MSE to many more people and while some may be on the forums to look for bargains, far more of them are on the Main Site reading the articles and hopefully becoming more financially savvy and making the best use of the great resources of MSE.

home come the otjer peeps haven't done their own tc sshow then? really needs more time on the show, so i an take it all in- also would help, to give some background to the various campaigns being run.

I really do hope the banks get shafted, re the charges!

Martin should have his own channel, never mind a longer show, you get my vote, you are fab

I think that the show is great, but what would make it better is two things,

1. stop the weird hand thing when they say the word 'slash' when advertising the five website

2. get rid of ruth

I would like to thank Martin Lewis for finally giving me the courage to reclaim my PPI from a nationwide loan which was an incredible amount. My husband and i were young and confused when we took out this PPI and did not understand what PPI was this was played on and we were basically told all the things nasty things that could happen if we didn't take it out and not told that it wasn't compulsary to have it.

Martin is doing a great thing in his own time to help all of us and why people wouldn't be greatful of that is beyond me.

I would love to ask mecoconuts if you thinks it pays to watch is such a rubbish show turn it off nobodys making you watch it and for sombody who seems to have such little grattitude for the person who this site is run by and bears their name it seems strange that you have accumulated 335 posts or maybe you have nothing better to do with your life that to watch tv shows you don't like and then come onto a website linked to that show and slag it off:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Once again thank you Martin you have made a big difference to lots of people who really do appriciate all of your hard work.
