Yes give them a call and let them know. You are better off paying the 4.00 per month now than letting it add up. x x x x x x

  • hi M&S gal.. have done general accounts/customer service type stuff, but aways wondered if there is 'something more' to life, than just pen pushing..

have always wanted to do a round britain bike ride, if only to see whats there, (and get fit, maybe raise some ££ for charity too..) but can't afford to be without a steady income.. c/cards taking forever to clear, along with water bill that mounted up from last year.

Hmm, well these boring jobs are a means to an end though! Maybe you could think about doing something via the open university if you fancy stretching your wings a bit? Or paid charity work? And, don't give up hope! :)

I hate it when that happens

actually need a bit of advice

i got my council tax bill for this year and they said they would take £91 a month but they have been taking £87.

this is their mistake should i tell them what they've done or leave it cos as far as they are concerned i am paying the bill. so if they ask for the money next year will they be able to as they are the ones screwing up cos i pay be dd

i know its only £4 but over the year it adds up to £40 and that would just about cripple us for the month if they demanded it back

check the monthly pymts shown on the bill- maybe some roundings done fror the first month or so.. if single, did you get the 25% reduction?

    *agrees*

Plus, if you were to fall into difficulties with it, it'll look good you've tried to show willing when they've made a mistake. :)

the monthly payments stated are one payment of £96 and nine payments of £91 but on my bankstatement they are only taking the £87 they were taking last year. I'm not elligable for any discounts.
