  • along with water bill that mounted up from last year.

I hate it when that happens

actually need a bit of advice

i got my council tax bill for this year and they said they would take £91 a month but they have been taking £87.

this is their mistake should i tell them what they've done or leave it cos as far as they are concerned i am paying the bill. so if they ask for the money next year will they be able to as they are the ones screwing up cos i pay be dd

i know its only £4 but over the year it adds up to £40 and that would just about cripple us for the month if they demanded it back

I would also cancel him as an additional card holder. It is just one phonecall. I did that when mr.b went on his spending spree, buying me flowers with my own card the cheeky........r!!!

Heehee, good luck with the money making! That's the reason why I hate buying clothes from ebay sometimes, always faffing about if they don't fit, so I don't use it that much. Though I have so many from my pre MSE days that thankfully I don't need anymore. :D

And re the depression, you're always welcome to come and have a chat, be it on here, via pm or whatever.

I've had a rant for the first time ever here, and mummy smashed is being lovely. :D

I wish I had bought them for me but I just KNEW they wouldn't fit - size 8 when I need a 14/16!!! The pic they put on was awful so I totally zoomed in on it to make a couple of quid!!!
Made £8 tonight on something I bought in town for £2 so I am fair chuffed - that will help towards debts/Canada etc, just wish I had bought more of them when they were in stock!!!

  • Believe me, nip it in the bud now or he will be like Mr.B, Putting on the "what have i done wrong now face?".....train em early and they will no longer embarrass themselves with your purse....

as the old saying goes, don't ask for credit! as a smack in the mouth or a kick in the bahoonies offends!

Haha don't worry, he is going to get a bloody good talking to next week.

Problem is, he's always had quite a bit of money (he does techy things with websites), so went straight onto good money from school, unlike the rest of us who did the whole bar/shop work part time. I mean, when I met him, he was clearing about 2.5k as a contractor, and blowing £100 a night in Wetherspoons...I mean, IN WETHERSPOONS?!?!?!?!?!

    *sigh*

But next week...*evil glint* I think he needs a bit of a shock lol.

Have you thought about changing career altogether. What about becoming a support worker for one of the charitable organisations. You get paid for doing the job you do. I work with learning difficulty adults. it is so rewarding and have loads of fun. The hrs are good. You could work for an agency and get paid more than you would if you were on the books. You could then do your bike ride and see some of the country and get paid for it at same time. If you joined a national agency then you would get work anywhere in the country. It may just be worth thinking about. x x x x

B, the cards thing, I'm happy for him to use them, since he pays them off. Basically I add it up each month and he wires me the money. I'm totally happy with this, although I have told him now he is *un-officially* debt free, I think he should look at sorting his own profile out. So he doesn't take the mick in that regard, it's just the money I lent him to pay off other stuff that annoys me. He says he'll pay me back at least 400 a month, but to be honest, I'd rather see a little bit now, than a lot in a few months! But hey ho, hes starting to learn, e.g. paying for car ins in one go, rather than spreading it etc.

Some day I will make him learn...hehe maybe next week when he comes I'll tell him I can't afford to eat, maybe that'll make him wake up!
