Hi Guys,
Its been a long time since I was last on this thread, when my MIL was taken poorly then to let you know that she had past away.
So tonight I'm up wide awake can;t sleep, I shouldn't be its a work night and I need to be up in less then 5 hours. However had a row with my OH, his Brother and wife have tonight well yesterday now had their first child a little girl. I'm really pleased for them, I can't wait to meet her.
However this is all a bit hard for me as I lost a baby last October so would have been due around now and am also desperate for another child (my DS is 1 next week). I'm one of those people whose only desire is to be a mum I love doing it.
So we;re talking about y I have shed a tear or 2, and OH told me that the baby I lost last yr wasn't a baby, it was 2 early to be a baby!! The baby was a baby to me!!
Having another baby also comes up into conversation, i say we wont have anymore cos to be honest he doesn;t want any more (he's lost both his parents this year so doesn;t want children they wont see) and he has told me he only had DS to keep me happy. Not the right reason to have children. He loses his temper at me shouting that all I talk about is having more children and that I never let it drop.
I have tried really hard not to mention it recently, but when your broody as hell as you know theres a good chance your body wont let you have another baby if you leave it to much further. Then its a really struggle but trying I have been.
So now I'm totally stuck as to what to do0 -
well im all cried out now and im hungry, will be back in a tick once ive got food and removed all the snotty tissues0

Aww bfl I'm so sorry to hear of your recent bad news. I know what its like to have a DH who does not want any more children. I'm lucky enough to have two beautiful girls but I would desperately love more. I hope you can get him to change his mind. Perhaps you should keep quiet for a little while, eventually he might realise how nice it would be for your DS to have a baby brother or sister - there's plenty of time - my girls have a 4 year age gap between them.Lightbulb moment: 14 May 2008Debt free date: April 2014DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 188Nightowl Member No 160

Thanks for your kind words Just Me.
Unfortunatley for me there isn;t a huge amount of time, I was told from 16/17 that I would be able to have a child. I have had 3 pregancies one at 16 miscarriage one last year that ended with my DS (me 25) and one last October that ended in another miscarriage (me 26).
Thats another issue because I have expressed a wish to have a girl I am in the wrong, I adore my son, but I would like a daughter because of all the girly things you get to do later in life together!!0 -

I don't want to upset you or go off on one about your DH but I think it was cruel of him to say the thing about it being too early to be a baby. I'm sure for most of us we feel its a new life inside us from the moment we find out we are pregnant. I also think its unfair of him to get angry for you wanting a girl. I would desperately love a boy but I wouldn't change my girls for anything and who wouldn't want one of each. You know what out of all my friends, and even almost everyone I know, has at least one of each and it makes me so envious, naughty of me really.;)
I would add though that girls are reeallllllyy haaard work.:pLightbulb moment: 14 May 2008Debt free date: April 2014DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 188Nightowl Member No 160 -
ok well he says he needs to sort his head out and that he still loves me but doesnt know if hes in love with me and hes got to sort his life out if we are to have a future, he says he does still think he sees us with a future but if he doesnt go he will end up destroying the relationship beyond repair, he says if he goes now maybe he can sort himself out.0
