London Eye Discounts

Anyone know of any discounts for the London Eye. Five of us (all 0ver 16) are hoping to go in August. Used to be able to use Tesco cc pts ( and possible Nectar, I thinks) but these have now stopped doing it, so looking for a way to save a bit on the trip.

only discount I know of at the moment is the 10% for booking on line. http://www.londoneye.com/

If you're going in August then it's worth booking in advance so that you avoid the queues.

I've just been looking for this myself....shame Tesco don't do deals for this anymore, I was assuming I could pay for it using deals tokens! If anyone knows any other discounts the info would be gratefully received!

Lastminute.com normally has offers for the london eye, though at the moment these seem to be just 10% of. It might be worth having a look ocasionally. Though for august, it might be difficult....

Have you had a look at the Days Out thread? http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=80

There used to be a promo whereby if you present a valid South West Trains train ticket or Oyster card then it's 2-for-1 on adult tickets.

The Oyster one isn't running at the mo but as you're looking for Aug anyway, keep an eye on the Oyster Offers page of the tfl.gov.uk website in case they reoffer it.
South West Trains haven't updated their summer offers yet so the London Eye one might still reappear there too.
Both of these have lots of other "cheaper" deals for adult tix to London attractions other than the Eye, if you're interested.

    Enjoy your hols.

There is still a way to do this using clubcard vouchers although it's not as cheap as it used to be. You can exchange your clubcard vouchers for airmiles via tesco scheme and then use airmiles to pay for london eye! I worked it out to be just over £8 per person in clubcard vouchers.

This is my first post so be gentle!

It would also be worth contacting London Eye to see if you can get a group discount, much like the discounts that tour companies receive

  • Hi All.
My Husband and I are taking out 3 1/2 year old daughter to London at Christmas, to see the lights and Trafalger Sq tree etc, and to do the "fun" christams shopping (stocking fillers etc)
We would love to take her on the London Eye, so I am wondering if anyone knows any discounts/2-for-1's etc. The best I've found so far is 10% off if I book through them on-line

Thanks to all that can help

Hi look on the freebies thread as there are some free tickets available to see Father Christmas in Harrods.... might be more fun than the London Eye :D
The London Eye didn't suit my 2 boys
