I have ticket for the Father Christmas for her too:j , and found a cheapish hotel, I just thought she'd enjoy that too:j . She's seen the pictures of when Hubby and I went on it when it first opened, and she's asked to go on it too! (My girl doesn't do it by halfs...she wants the works!!!!)

As far as I know you can get 2for1 on the London Eye using an oyster card (which itself is free and can be ordered in advance online, though they take a refundable £3 deposit for the card); the oyster card would probably be a good bet for getting around cheaply and also often offers theatre discounts.

My sons are going to London on Saturday for the day.They are poor students lol so wanted some vouchers if possible for any attractions as they're trying to do the day on a tight budget.

BUT a lot of museum and gallery are free, just walk around Covent Garden. stroll along the embankment for the sights, remember to buy Travelcard for unlimited travel on the day.

Yes they plan to buy a travelcard,i think its called an oyster card.They plan alot of museum type visits,hyde park,camden,big ben,picadilly circus,covent garden.Just couldn't believe the prices for the london eye,dungeons,madame tussards etc,really pricey for them.I have brit trips but it doesn't work out that much cheaper as they have to pay full adult price to get the discount.Its not much cheaper than using their student card for concession prices.

All of the above attractions (in bold) are covered by Tesco Deals, although I appreciate it may be too late this time it's something to think about for the next outing/meal/holiday your sons plan.

Why not use this chance to enlighten your sons about the benefits of keeping Tesco vouchers for Deals in future (they are valid for 2 years so can mount up) rather than spending them instore. The Nectar scheme pales into insignificance when comparing what you can buy with these rewards.

As well as buying a holiday with Tesco Deals this year I also bought 6 Merlin annual passes with my Tesco vouchers which get my family in to all of those London attractions you mentioned and others like Thorpe Park, Legoland and Sea Life Centres for a year.

Other people have bought cars thru' Motorpoint with their carefully-saved Deals, then there's Pizza Hut meals, Airmiles, you name it.

Does anyone have any codes or deals for the London Eye ? I have found the 10% off if you book on the web, and also an old one that gave 2 for 1 if you had an Oyster card, but that seems to have run out.
