OK if your odometer records km, otherwise you may as well do the conversion for MPG, Miles per litre is straightforward, my odometer registers miles, petrol pumps register litres = one calculation. Miles recorded divided by litres used.

There is no "nearly" involved, 4.5 X £1.19 =£5++ Illustrates my point though. People need simple calculations!
