Halifax cash ISA transfer procedure

I am not very happy with the Halifax. I sent the transfer "authority" form back to them on the 10th May along with a copy of a statement for the ISA to be transfered (as "proof of account"). They made a copy of the statement and sent me back the original on the 13th May.

I rang them on the 3rd June to check on progress. At first they claimed I had not sent the transfer form in (but I have -- the letter of 13th May shows this), they then had another look and said they did have the form but had "overlooked" it. The lady on the 'phone said she would send off an email to get the form sent to NS&I.

Now its 9th May and I am going to 'phone again today to check they have sent the form off.

Meanwhile the rate has dropped to 6% and I am relying on the "60 day guarantee" I was given on the 'phone when I applied for the account to get 6.2% (and which is not given in the T&Cs anywhere). This assumes they complete the transfer in 60 days.
