WEll, we bought our house for about £10k less (£135k) that the smaller house 5 doors down in a matter of 2 months. What does that tell you? We just had a desperate seller, who accepted low offer and we got lucky...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

Maybe it needs digging around to find.
Maybe it is just in Scotland. When you click on 'full application details' it says price, then gives you the name of the applicant. It also gives you all the other times that property has been registered so you can easily see the price it has gone for in the past.0 -
I too would be wondering what the OP has to hide0

But unfortunately house sale prices are in the public domain, through the land registry, this is the way it is in law.owitemisermusa wrote: »I understand the OP. It's a privacy issue.
So again I would be asking why the OP is wanting to circumvent the law.
If it is simply a privacy issue then the answer to the original question is no.0 -
When we finally get in a position to sell after redundancy etc...
We will not want certain people to know this property is for sale. It may be that the OP feels the same, that's how I read it.
For the terminally curious - the person who has given us a really hard time, been unnecessarily and creatively unpleasant and really wants this property has been known to use third parties to acquire property when the vendor would rather see this person in hell.
Bitter - Oh yes!Always another chapter0 -
A stalker found my sister this way.
She moved to another town 12 miles away but he looked up the date of her house sale and looked at other house sales in the area for that same date. He then drove round them one by one until he saw her car parked outside one of them.0 -
Fair enough if you want to cut off your nose to spite your face, personally speaking if I were selling up I wouldn't care if Adolf Hilter was buying my property as long as they paid the right price. When we finally get in a position to sell after redundancy etc...

How the fcuk do you think you are going to sell your house without letting people know it is for sale, could be a pretty long process..."excuse me would you like to buy my house ok, no....please don't tell anyone though..."excuse me............0 -
I understand the nightmare of this as a family member had a serious one for several years.A stalker found my sister this way.
She moved to another town 12 miles away but he looked up the date of her house sale and looked at other house sales in the area for that same date. He then drove round them one by one until he saw her car parked outside one of them.
When he moved (from rented) we hired 5 vans to arrive and leave at the same time. All drove off in diff directions.
He used his second name for everything but forgot one extra 'phone line.
Only took 3 months for her to find him through BT records (must have had access from inside / employee) but meanwhile then found me by extremely complicated means.
Despite acts of violence, we found the police reluctant to get involved until she threatened my 6 yr old girl with a knife (and slashed the car tyres etc etc).
I really sympathise but you could put with EA and insist it doesn't appear on websites etc but this will make it difficult to sell.
Rent it out and move into a rental (using 5 vans to confuse) would be the only option I could think of now.
Plenty of advice on how to do this on this board.
Good luck0
