  • You can take them up to the maximum pressure they are rated at.

If you can live with the hard ride, you will get more mpg.

It's dangerous to run tyres underpressure,as the casing overheats.

I was a bit worried when i read about it on the diesel forum, but it's what they recommend.

I put about 38 psi in my tyres (10 more than normal) when i went to the South of France (900 miles in one day) and they were fine on the Autoroute, but a bit uncomfortable otherwise.

It's not just the ride thats affected if you pump up your tyres too hard.

You will also get uneven tyre wear causing you to have to replace your tyres sooner rather than later

I wish I'd seen this thread sooner and heard about that Fuel Saver device
    Q. What is it made from ?
    A. It is a custom sealed neodymium super inductor that generates a frequency resonance between its faces.

    Q. What makes the Fuel Saver Max so unique ?
    A. Operates on the principle of resonance, utilizing a double chamber frequency with phased frequency modulation.
It must be very clever. Why not buy several? You could probably also use it to
    - Treble the battery life between charges on your iPod
    - Make your plants grow faster
    - Reduce your electricity bills
    - Enable better mobile phone coverage in marginal areas
    - Change traffic lights as you approach
    - Improve virus and anti-spyware products on your computer
    - Use it as a water softener
    - Increase jackpot chances on fruit machines

    Any other ideas?

It's a pity it doesn't work as a !!!!!! detector; then it would be perfect

I'm surprised noone has mentioned the best - and cheapest - way of saving fuel

It's simply "why am I doing this journey"?

Are you driving 10 miles to the gym so you can spend an hour on a treadmill?

Are you driving 10 miles to Asda because it's cheaper than Sainsburys a mile away?

Has anyone ever actually used this device? Please give feedback.
They come firmly in the 'snake oil' category.

They also improve your love life and cure baldness!
