remove rad, fit another, 750x600mm, thermo and lockshield £139+Vat

Remove rad, fit another, 600x1800mm, thermo valve and lockshield valve £145+Vat

ADD rad 750x500mm thermo and lockshield, AND add thermo valve to towel rail £245+vat

Good morning: Are the specified radiators single or double convector and what brand TRVs are being fitted? In plumbing (as most things) a known entity is usaully a safer bet than the unknown...in others words if you have used him previously and found him to reliable (and hopefully competent) then go for it. I don't think his prices are OTT but I always advise 3 full specifaction quotes from trades recommended to you by a source you trust.

    Hi

The 750x600 and 600x1800 are doubles, others singles. Think they are 'Heat-Line'(?) and I've no idea about the trvalves i'm afraid. Wouldn't imagine they were anything special tho. Interestingly, I've registered on some of those internet sites like 1234quote, that offer to get 3 people quote for you and got no response at all.

You think this is not an unreasonable quote then?

Good afternoon: Not an unreasonable price just make sure he uses a name brand TRV eg. Drayton, Siemens, Danfoss or Honeywell and adds Central heating inhibitor to the system eg. Fernox or Sentinel. My OH tends to use Stelrad or Quinn radiators.

Ah yes- there's an extra charge of 80 quid for 'commissioning', which is putting sentinel x 'something or other' (can't remember what) then draining that after a while, and putting sentinel x 'something else' in afterwards.

Thanks for your help by the way.
