ISA Question

Hi, I recently transfered from and Abby Easy ISA to the Icesave ISA. I have just over £6700 in it but am yet to put in this years allowance as I am in the process of adding a nominated account so cannot transfer it yet.

However, I was wondering whether it would be a good idea to open a Direct ISA with Alliance & Leicester with the 6.25% interest and keep it in there until the rate drops next May. I dont want to close the Icesave account as I expect it will still have a good rate of interest after the A&L one drops.

So would it make sense to open the A&L one or shall I just add to the Icesave one when I am able to?

Cheers,

pmorrison
