I also opened issue 64 ISA with this years £3600 and sent in form to move my NS&I Isa to it. NS&I have closed my account and sent Warrant to NR but I am sweating now as I don't know if it met the deadline.
If it misses deadline can I open a new ISA (say issue 65 or 66) using this "old" money?

You'll need to talk to Northern Rock. This is what they say about their fixed rate ISA(s) :You can add extra money to your ISA (subject to HMRC rules) whilst the ISA is still available to new customers.
.... they may make exceptions if the 'extra money' is en route via transfer? If not they will need to advise you - otherwise your ISA cash has no home! No reason why you can't put it into one of their other ISAs ... if they decline to allow it to add to '64'. So long as you don't add further cash.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Just recieved notification from NR that they have allowed the transfer in even though issue had closed.0
