There was a response to our questions in post #195 by MSE Archna. Things have been hectic for the MSE team just recently so I guess we'll have to be patient for a while.;)

From my experience of having arranged a meet in S Wales and attending other ones, not that many people actually turn up and the ones that do turn up are possibly like me and will go regardless of whether or not there's an official meet around the same time.

If I was you I'd arrange one and let MSE Archna know of the date so that if a date hasn't been arranged she can try to keep it away from an immediate/very close clash.

I know at the time, some of the people who were going to come to the OS meet and wanted to go to the official meet, said they could only afford to come to one. I'll make enquiries anyway for the OS meet (in Blackpool)

thanks fran, yes i had already subcribed to email notification, but seeing as i hadnt had any for a while was getting worried i might have missed the date as I know they were planning for january.
