My sister lived in Braintree for three years and saw a grand total of... 7 buses in her time there. She said she'd have been suicidal if she'd not had the car to get around (and back up to Yorkshire). We stayed there one December and it was quite magical with the frost, full moon and wassailing!

Good luck with the temp agencies (but hoping the interveiwed today job pays off for you).

    aaaaarrrrrgggggg!!! Horrible day!!!
Car broke down whilst on my way to picking up DD from playschool, with 11 week old baby in back of car!! nightmare...had to call hubby to get me, mum to pick up little one from playschool, then garage to tow car away!! Thats just bloody brill - just as we are really starting to start chippin away at the old cc, a nice bill of £250 is going to land on our laps from the garage!!! I could cry I am soo angry!
Then decided to tally up the food receipts and have found that we have gone over budget by £30, I have found a receipt in there that i certainly did not get, me thinks the hubby might have forgotten about one and just slipped the receipt in there...knowing that I would be a little iccle bit ANNOYED!!!
    arrrrrrggggg arrrrrrgggg and double arrrrrgggggg
am hoping that tomorrow, that the sun will be shining and for some completely unknown reason the postman delievers a cheque for £30000 to pay my debt off....well I can dream can't i ????????

Tomorrow will be better:D Chin up!

My OH's car has just died too and we have no idea how much that one is going to be to fix. He was driving home in the storm on Sunday night and it started to cut out as he was crossing the dual carriage way to get to our village, he only just made it across before the car gave up the ghost:eek:

He thought it may be just some water that had got in somewhere but it still wont start........so it is sat out the front looking sorry for itself. Our lovely neighbours are letting us borrow one of their cars till we can sort it:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
