Think you need to read the sticky at the top of this forum0 -
Nope, I've cut and pasted the relevant quote as you're obviously having trouble finding it
The name of the thread also gives it away
"This Board Is For Help Not Judgement "
"Please use your knowledge and kindness to help rather than to berate. "
happy to help,

Not at all - for what it's worth I'm not, and never have been, bankrupt, nor am I in debt. I had some problems in the past that I fought through and thankfully came out the other side of - we were so close to heading in the direction that this lady and others on this board are, I shall forever more be thankful that we had help and support to get ourselves out of the situation before it got worse.
It's not about having to agree with things - it is, as a previous poster said, about being supportive. If you are unable to say anything constructive, then perhaps you would be better off finding another area of the forums to spend your time. Of course, it could be simply that you have posted in order to gain a reaction from people - there have been plenty like that in the past, and no doubt will be in the future. It's a shame really - surely there has to be more to life than wishing to upset others? Sadly it seems that for some, that is the highlight of their day.
*edit* - just checked kreditkruncher's post count and the penny drops. Oh well, I suspect the ban-hammer will be along shortly! ;-)🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

*sigh* oh dear....
I was pointing you towards the thread following your post saying "in order to write on this page you must AGREE with everything said." It also comments on how to be sensitive towards nuances but I think you missed that bit. I think it would be best if you refrained from posting on this board to be honest and stayed on boards where you are less likely to contravene the board's guidance on how to post.

How on earth could you have got yourself in this state is beyond me.
You say you had a tax bill of £3000 that you were not expecting. Good God woman, when you register for tax they TELL YOU that you will be charged tax for money earned over £5000ish and that you are to put aside 20% of those earnings for that very thing. You say you spent that money on bills, what that and the profit and the £3000 or so a month that you are declaring to the courts. I am on around a third of that sum and yet I manage perfectly because I LIVE WITHIN MY MEANS!
It is hardly rocket science.
You say that a year ago you were majorly in debt but put it on the morgage for a clean slate. So how the hell did you get in this state so quickly with that amount of income? It really beggers belief.
So now. You take the easy option, you go bankrupt, how proud you must feel for your kids, what an example.
I know you will all have a go and stick up for each other but everyone is entitled to their opinion and this is mine.
And now, you speak of weekends away and sky television, hardly lifes essentials is it? If it were me I would do everything in my power to pay MY debts instead of expecting others to foot the bill and I would budget.
Even your food bill beggers belief. You could easily cut that by a third.
So, I will leave you with those thoughts and bid you a happy uncertain future.
Gambling was it?
Thanks for taking the time to read my thread and post your thoughts. As you say, you are perfectly entitled to your opinion, and as this is a free forum, you are entitled to post your opinion.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000
