lyniced wrote:With regards to the Now mag subscription and body shop gifts, I rang last week, after waiting nearly a month and a half. The guy asked what free gift I was waiting for? I told him it was the Body Shop butters, to which he said 'I'll just go and check the stock'. He came back after a minute or so and said that there was plenty of stock and a new lot will be sent out. Sounds like they are a bit disorganised and that the free gifts are actually in a cupboard somewhere in their office. Keep ringing and moaning - after all the mag isn't up to much, so we should get something good for our subscription.
Do you have the phone number handy, think I will give them a call and ask where mine is.0 -

Thanks again
You can just cancel the direct debit after the first £1 has been taken, then they will normally just send you the 3 issues and stop. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

If they havent received them in 28 days, they will let me know. Im not sure wether they will let everyone know so it might be worth sending them an e-mail. When did you place your subscription? Have they already taken the £11.99 DD?Sexkitten
Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first

I've just realised that I haven't been charged the £3 for the Junior subscription. I've had 2 mags and the train set, the DD has been set up but no money has been taken out. Normally I would've cancelled the sub by now, don't know what to do now...0

Charlotte3, if you are talking about the Now DD, they took mine out last week even though I cancelled DD right after first issue!
I rang and told them I didn't like the mag and had already cancelled DD, but had recieved the body butters before first mag delivery.
They were very polite and said 'OK, putting your money back into your account right now' ......................and they did, by the end of the day.

Thanks LilacLillie, that's good to know. I placed my subs last week and my first DD is due to come out towards the end of July. I hope I get the goodies before then, and if as people seem to say on here that the magazine isn't up to much, I may see about cancelling before they take any money.
I love body shop butters anyway, so I guess it would make the subs worth while even if the mag is trash!Sexkitten
