IS AN IMEI A SIM NO? Cheating husband-pls help :(
IS AN IMEI A SIM NO? Let me explain - just found out my husbands cheating on me. need access to his online bills for evidence i can use to make this as fast and painless as possible for my kids.
I have got an IMEI no for 3G and it is 15 digits long. It starts with 3 and ends in 9 could this possibly be the sim no to his phone?
Sorry to bug you all im so bruised from all of this i need something to go right for me

IMEI number is the unique serial number of the phone , not the mobile number
it may be on the sim card (under the battery)Ex forum ambassador

thats what i mean Browntoa - i need the sim number and have some paperwork with a 15 digit IMEI number is this that same thing just re-worded?
Thanks by the way for the quick reply x0 -
No, IMEA is the unique ident for the PHONE, not the SIM card.
I take it you want access to his online phone bill. You would need his user name and password for that.
Having the number of his SIM (which is a 19 digit number located on the card itself) wont get you access to his bill.0 -
oh thankyou, I thought it was too good to be true... looks like im screwed. he obviously wont hand it over by request and him and his phone have disappeared .. im gutted0

The 15 digit number is the IMEI number. Sorry to hear about your husband, i've been where you are and it's not nice at all. even though we weren't married it still hurts just the same.
Hope you get it all sorted and soon, and don't forget if he is cheating both you and your kids are better off without him.

I take it he was a Three customer? The sim number is indeed written on the back of the simcard. If he had registered with the operators website and is still around I would recommend getting some key logging software, hopefully if or when he checks his account on your computer you would be able to find out his username/password.. (pm me if u want the software). Had similar problems in my household and found this method to help!SLC: £13000+
Quidco: £131.24 (paid) + £0 (validated) = £131.24
Valued Opinions: £75 (paid) + £52.30 (received) + £4.50 (pending) = £131.80
StudentPanel: £250 -
I really feel for you Bubbles, Key logger software is a possibility as is software called Spyphone this will give you all the proof you need, where as a phonebill he can say there is no proof of anything going on just a list of calls and texts spyphone will give you all the proof you need even how painful it would be, it will catch him out big time.

Wow, you guys are amazing. Sadly, the link does not support his phone (Nokia N73) nor my phone (samsung e530) i wan't sure which phone you have to install it on but it doesn't matter i guess if they are not supported.
He is now saying he threw his phone out the window last night in anger so i am thinking i should call the police station and see (i doubt it) if anything has been handed in. He has screwed me up so much i cant think straight .. thankyou for restoring my faith in people x i appreciate your responses so much x
I should also add he has never logged on from the PC to his 3 account so that rules out key logging

Not sure if this helps, but if you can get hold of the original sim card attachment i.e the big credit card looking card in which the sim card used to sit before being detached and placed into the phone.
There maybe the numbers printed on there which could help, but it depends if you can find the original packaging. Hope this helps..0
