Hi, on the advice of you knowledgable people on here i transfered my ISA from B& B to Icesave last month, but as of today the balance has not been paid in. The 30 days cut off point is wednesday. I will wait till then but I have a feeling it wont be there. Is it worth contacting Icesave?

It's always worth contacting providers if transfers aren't going as you'd hope. However, from what's been written on some posts here, B&B (along with a few others!) would appear to be really dragging their heels with transfers. Depending on what Icesave say, you could always try making an official complaint to B&B, if they don't resolve the situation within 8 weeks of your complaint, you can then take it up with the Financial Ombudsman Service (but they have a back log too!).0

So I've phoned up B&B and apparently they have no record of any transfer being requested. I wanted to check that the details I gave Icesave were correct, can someone confirm that Bradford and Bingley's sortcode is 13-40-00? The acount number is definately correct, so this leaves B&B being very slow- not much I can do atm though0

I have the same problem with Icesave and NSI. I requested for transfer from NSI to Icesave and it has been over 30 days. I had to call Icesave only for them to tell me NSI only sent a cover letter to them and not the transfer form I signed!!! I am quite upset...I have gotten NSI to send the transfer form again.QUIDCO £2827 paid out since October 2007:D0

.. to Selftrade and it to took about 20 days - no issues.
Although my wifes transfer from A&L to Selftrade is taking ages longer!
I would have though a cash to cash transfer should not take much longer than a simple BAC transfer (ie the usual lost 4 days!)0 -
So are delays such as this part of the course?
I'm a bit concerned that the process will start again, which is a further 30 days. I'm also concerned that the letters sent from Icesave to B&B to notify them of the transfer have not been recieved, and the same thing could happen next time they are sent
