Agent lying about gas safety check!

When/if he does come round, I would also ask to check his CORGI ID card and just have a look at the back to make sure he is qualified in boilers, fires and hobs. I find it hard to believe that he has said that he has done the cert. in January and not actually done it because if anything nasty had happened since then ie CO problems, he would have been in trouble as he was the last person to have inspected the appliances and signed to say he had done them!!
We have problems dealing with some agents ourselves who seem to have problems keeping records re gas checks.0 -

I know his address and his corgi number, so I checked on the corgi site and he's on there for both gas and electricTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I wouldn't want him doing the checks , I would report him both to CORGI and the HSE along with the agents. He has admitted he didn't do the checks, it is either he or the agents that have falsified the documents. either way those responsible shouldn't be in business.
I would also inform the LL it is he who is ultimately responsible and he may not want to take the risk of having such agents acting on his behalf.0
