Hypno's "bursting with energy" diary.......

Evening all!

Moneywise nothing to report - other than it is late in the month and like most people the money runs out before the pay goes in!

I think I will def need to do another car boot sale, at the weekend (weather permitting, of course!) and need to have a bit of an ebay fest.

We got details of our new student for September, all being well, and we are determined to get the house sorted (cleared of all clutter and a "nice" place to stay) before she arrives - I know it is a while away yet, but it gives us chance to get stuck in, ebay and car boot like mad, slap a coat of paint on to freshen up where needed, and get some order to the house!

Pania.........how are you with a paintbrush :rotfl:

Ooh good more money coming into the Hypno house (and I am sorry we are not closer Dr Dragon is cracking with a paintbrush and so am I - I would be on the skirting boards though :rotfl:)

It won't be until September though........ages away!! but at least we know it is money coming in due course.

Well, I got a bit of a shock today when I logged into online banking (damage limitation!!) and saw that I have been paid!!

I am very very happy and much relieved!! This means that my car tax fund can still be used for the car tax at the end of the month, and the kids race camp fees for next week can still be paid without embarrassment!!

However - now I have no bloomin idea of paydates for future months - it seems to be a bit ad-hoc!! Must make sure I am always prepared for 5 or even 6 week months!!!!!

Plus, on another sort of (or not) moneysaving theme - I got a free latte this morning (have obviously been spending too much there over the last few weeks!).........:rolleyes:

Wonderful news that you've been paid, must have been good to see it in your account.

I doubt that you need to panic over the next few months, you always come up with something.

I was so excited I nearly went a whooping around the office.......not a good look when you are desperately trying to make a good impression

Also spoke to the new student last night - she called to say "hello" and obviously to suss us out a bit - she sounds really really nice. She then spoke to our "existing" student, obviously to get the truth...........the current student obviously told her we live in an immaculate house with a well-ordered lifestyle.........:D
