Our carbonara was snaffled in a jiffy - nothing left to go in the freezer today! Think it came to about £2.40 for the 5 of us, so not too bad at all.

That's fantastic value - and sounds yum too. OH is away next week so am going to see how little I can live on!

Same here Mizmir - DH, DS and DD are all away at the International Scout Jamboree so there is only me here. I don;t intend spending anything apart from the newspaper today.

Its gloriously sunny and warm here already so looking forward to a day split between jobs on my list and sitting in garden reading said newspaper !!! Hope you all have a good day

I can't get a NSD in today - DS needs a new pair of trainers as he is on a basketball camp next week....the camp itself is fab value £10 for the week :T But his trainers are simply not suitable.....so it is off to the cheap sports shop at some point today. But I pledge to spend as little as possible (whilst still making sure the trainers fit, of course!).

Apart from that.......no idea! The sun is shining again, and OH is out doing his charity thing so just me and the kids........probably will just be busy doing nothing!

That sounds nice! I've had glorious sunshine in my seminar yesterday and at work on Friday, but now in heavy overcast. Couple of jobs I need to do outside, tho, so thats okay, actually, forearms not burnt but a bit sore.

Trying to find lots of things not to do#

Yes, I remember that too!

My conservatory is still clear, so it may be more time spent in there today......although I do need to clear my kitchen and do a bit of washing. I had better do a list;

• [STRIKE]drink copious amounts of coffee[/STRIKE] finding this one really tough to do :rolleyes:
• spend time sitting in the conservatory too hot -waiting for the sun to move round a bit
• buy trainers for DS
• clean kitchen dishwasher done, emptied and refilled....two worktops cleared and floor swept.....slowly slowly!!
• [strike]check online banking......don't be scared now, hypno.......[/strike] Done - final shortfall for July £614 - must try harder next month!!!!!
• Make Sausage plait for dinner sausagemeat is out of the freezer
• [STRIKE]write a letter to my Nana[/STRIKE] Done - need to print out at work tomorrow and send off then.
• [strike]do piggy clicks and check quidco[/strike] DONE
• get something listed on ebay......still haven't done this
• [strike]do some washing[/strike] First lot out on line, next lot in the machine
