Meal plan sounds simple but delicious. Just noticed your signature update, your challenge is still looking great despite all the set backs lately. Must feel good to be in the low 50s now, you'll soon be in the 40s. Its achievements like that that drive you with all the MSing and meal planning I know, and you're an example of why I should get on with it coz the results speak for themselves. Well done Hypno you really do deserve that house one day and as its your goal and you're focussed I am in no doubt you will get it.

Thanks for the tips about Abel and Cole - sadly don't deliver to my house yet, but they do the nearest city so I've registered by email address too.

That's a great total for Mystery Shopping Hypno, I've finally bitten the bullet and have my first mystery shop since TNS and GFK stopped doing things PAYE. I was scared by the self employment bit (stupid I know :o) but I've taken a phone call job with GFK for Monday and I've registered with Gap now, just need to do some of their specific tests to be able to do some jobs with them. Hoping that'll help raise my total for my make £5 a day challenge over the next few months and I'm sure I'll get my head round the self employment stuff

Hope your day hasn't been too stressful, we've got staff changes here which always make me a bit unsettled.

Good evening! My day felt far longer than it should have done, so I am shattered!!! Nothing awful just one of those days where as soon as my bum hit the seat this morning, I was sent here there and everywhere, and never got chance to take a breath.....

My feet were so hot that my sandals have caused blisters.......and everyone had ice creams bought at work, but because I was in meetings I missed out but I could see the others eating them through the window  How grossly unfair!!!! The chap who bought them, has said I can have mine next week....I will be holding him to that, he can be sure of that :D

I have picked up a last minute client for tomorrow morning, so a little more money in the pot which all helps.....but I have done nothing on my list from today :o Oh well, I can carry it over to the weekend.....

Hope everyone has had a good day x:o

Hypno - a girl at my workplace started doing massages/aromatherapy etc at work during her lunch break. They let her use one of the rooms to do it in, and she charged a discounted fee for employees. It went down really well, in fact she is now doing it full time. I know your days are very busy, but do you get a fixed lunch break? I was just wondering if something along those lines would work for you. I'm thinking maybe not, because you are always rushed off your feet, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Good news on the free tickets there duchy!! OH has bagged a fab freebie - he complained about something and they have arranged for £100 "tab" at pizzaexpress :j So we are going there early next week with the kids and the student.........:D :D:D

    So today's list:
    • Do the stuff I didn't do on yesterday's list
    • Get the student to her excursion
    • See a client
    • Do a paddy power bonus thing
    • play £2 bonus I got from Laddies
    • check online banking
    • get something listed on ebay/amazon
    • cook something from meal plan - pasta carbonara I think
    • chill a little
    • check for mystery shops
The sun is shining still and I hope to spend a little time in the conservatory reading or on the laptop or something - after all, it is tidy now so it would be a shame not to!

    Have a good day x

Wow!! What a fab freebie!! What did he complain about?

A former boyfriend of mine had a free tab at Pizza Express - for life! He and a friend hitchhiked to the Montreux Jazz Festival (from Cumbria) when they were penniless teenagers. They were picked up en route by Peter Boizot, founder of Pizza Express, and he was so impressed by their dedication to music that he gave them a card that guaranteed them free meals in all his restaurants. There weren't so many in those days, only a handful in the big cities, but all the same Simon got lots of use out of it. I wonder if he still uses it to this day.

Wow!! That is a fab freebie!!

It reminds me (although I don't know why) of when I was 9 months pregnant with DD - If your waters broke when you were shopping in Marks & Spencers, they gave you a superb free gift........We went shopping, and I kept popping into M&S "just in case" and OH kept dragging me into Halfords in the hope that my waters would break there and he would get a free set of car speakers or some wheel trims etc.........

Needless to say, DD held on for a couple of extra weeks and had to dragged out!!!
