Housework is not a fun thing.....I don't like it.....I really don't!

Basically, Mizmir, we are hosting a student for three weeks for a summer school. She arrives next week but because we have not hosted a student for this particular school, they want to do a home visit........and with the state of my house as it is, they will reject us straight away.........or break a leg before they get in.......or something similar.

So, we have our work cut out over the next day or so!

Nothing else to report - I picked up 5 mystery shops yesterday for the next week or so, so that is good........and I managed a NSD yesterday which I am very pleased about!

Ah .... breaking legs of home visitors is not good for debt busting .. I can see that. Well then needs must - just don't get to enjoy it too much! Hope things work out with the student - sounds very promising - and one short-termer might presumably lead to more?

OO, even the "public" areas are more shocking than shocking can be.......believe me, there will be a fair amount of fingers crossed that certain doors are not opened!!

I wouldn't want to have too many "short term" students.....after all, we already have a longer term one from Sept to June.......but needs must, and a few hundred pounds here and there will make all the difference to balancing the books (again) and while OH income is uncertain, it becomes a definite necessity.

While I wouldn't say it is "easy money" (there is a fair amount of running around to do, and of course the humungous tidying up exercise beforehand........) it is def worth doing.

Do you sometimes daydream about a day when your house is your own, you have one job each and 5p piggy clicks aren't a source of joy? Or is that just me ?
