a million posts? methinks you doth exaggerate somewhat :rotfl:

I have just updated my spreadsheet - things are looking better.....tight, but when I consider there is no more money to come from the student until a new one arrives in September, I think we can probably just about survive!

That means that anything I make from ebay, matched betting etc, can go straight towards the debt, to get those numbers down.

I feel very very positive about things now!

Hi Hypno! I'm glad you feel so positive, and what a miracle to feel confident of surviving, even without the student's rent. Brilliant news.

Thanks Seaxwyn, although I am not sure what OH will say when I tell him that the food budget is £200 (not too bad) but the petrol budget is 0

It is going to be a choice between eating and driving........

I see a storecupboard challenge or two ahead :rotfl: Ah well, I seem to remember doing this at the same point last year - it just goes to show how much we rely on the student's income!

Just think though - when you are debt free the student income can go towards a skiing holiday for the family!
