Well, the poor girl has been subject to me telling her in no uncertain terms this morning, that she should NOT accept the job with current !!!!!! employer.......and should sieze this as an opportunity to do what SHE wants to do so that in years to come she can stick two fingers up at those who have been doubting her abilities etc.......

Poor thing will probably feel well and truly bullied now - that was not the intention......well, not much :D

No I think we are all behind her NOT staying with the !!!!!! company (still reckon she has a claim for unfair or constructive dismissal - take the bar stewards for every penny!)

Somehow I doubt she feels bullied - more cared for I think! :p

Afternoon Hypno..did you manage to go for a run then or not?..I couldn't quite work it out.I agree with the others RE Pania...she should get the redundancy money and leave the horrible company....as they have treated her really badly.

Another one here supporting Pania taking the redundancy, but maybe that's because it's worked out well for us in the past.

I've been trying to work out moneysaving actions for when we get a new base and spotted people on mse are doing online shopping (e.g. Tesco's) via ipoints then moneysupermarket. We'd about given up on ipoints, but this looks like it might be worth trying. Have you tried it yet?

Edit - it should be mysupermarket not moneysupermarket

No, taxi, I did not get as far as the run.....I still have my running gear on though......just in case the urge takes me :rotfl:

Se999, no I have not looked at ipoints for my tesco shop - I will have a look before I next shop with them! Thank you!

Re redundancy - I am one of those people who thinks that sometimes the best decisions are those that are made for you.......and that no one stops you doing what you really want to do except yourself. OK, so it is a very simplified view, but essentially Pania has a dream, and I think that this is the time to say "ok, timing not great, but I CAN do this, and live my dream"........

Not just Pania, though - it applies to all of us!!

She will make the right decision, I know. But before she does that, she may well slap me round the face with a wet fish and tell me to shut up for gawds sake!!!

(and very entitled she would be to do that too :o )
