Opportunity was lost in 2003 because of the default. By 2006 house prices had doubled!
In my area house prices are down to 2003-2006 levels, increasingly more are at the 2003 prices.

Hurry or you'll owe THEM money!

There is no way you will be compensated for some supposed loss of profit. It's akin to stating one should be awarded for the money you might have earned as a pop artist if only Simon Cowell had not told you years back you nwere no good.
  • Sorry mate, can't see you winning this one. I'm afraid you're !!!!!! Durkin, not !!!!!! Turpin!

The action isn't about loss of profit. It's about deliberately annihilating our plans to buy a family home. Fraud. The banks don't deserve sympathy, particularly HFC. You'll see.

Still confused after reading this, you didn't follow the conditions of your credit agreement and thats the banks fault?

You didn't actually confirm the specs of a laptop before buying and thats PC worlds fault.

Glad the justice system is working just fine.

Justice system isn't fine at all. I promise.

The credit agreement was processed fraudulently (laptop had already been returned).

    Extortion and defamation ensued.

I was told the laptop probably had a modem. I did check. It didn't.

Still waiting. 13 years so far. Into the third parliament. Third time lucky?

Of course, life lost can never be replaced.

At some point you have to get on with your life. I hope you are managing to do so and haven't put life on hold to pursue this.

Thanks for showing an interest. I really need to get a story into the papers though, or even on TV.

Sadly, at the moment, getting on with life seems such an impossible task. Creditors are relentless and even some of my previous lawyers were trying to make us homeless, impatient for their money. (Recently sisted)

The whole point of this is that the malicious action of the bank has brought our lives crashing down.

Sadly the recession, also to do with the banks, has brought the lives of plenty of others crashing down too.

The banks are getting away with it. The government is doing nothing.

The Supreme Court will finally bring an end to it and in our case, possibly, allow us to buy a family home.

Depending on the reparation awarded, we may never have a chance of a family home. I guess most of the bankers though are nicely set up. I wish the law would allow them a taste of their own medicine.

Part of my reference to life includes the dead that cannot be brought back. Those that might still be alive, if the bank hadn't maliciously annihilated my credit rating. People that I could have helped but was unable to do so.

The banks have a lot to answer for. I will stand up to them and the UK will be a better place because of it.

    God willing.
