Vernon's do online, and very good quality, I had a flyer today from them giving advance notice of May sale

No connection except as satisfied customerEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
I get a lot of my bedding plants from car boot sales in May/June - usually lots cheaper than the garden centre.0

One tip is, if you buy plants from places like B&Q and it says on the labels "lasts one season" don't always believe it! I bought a load of dwarf Sweet Williams and Pansies "Sweet Sorbet" (or something like that) last year and they are still going strong, the pansies flowered all winter and have self seeded and are still in flower, and the dwarf Sweet Williams have now come into flower with lots of flower buds on there too! They have been outside in heavy rain, very heavy frosts and snow but survived all that was thrown at them! If I had taken the labels advice and thrown them away it would have been such a waste! Hopefully they will keep flowering again all this summer too!0
