If your breasts start to leak at an inappropriate time, a quick sharp tap on the nipple halts the flow immediately. I wouldn't recommend doing it regularly, however it may be useful to know in order to avoid possible embarassing situations.

i used the tesco maternity pads they were great, i also tried the boots ones and they were awful, really irritated my stitches.
and i must be the only bf mother who only used half a box of breast pads!, i used the johnson ones, and only at night coz i slept on my front and it caused my boobs to leak.
i bf for 7 months in all, so you may not even need them

they really need to invent breast pads with a cloth nappy cover style backing to stop any leaks going through lol. For the first week or so i used disposable boobie pads and after that cloth ones (i had 3 sets). I too found the disposable ones just felt a bit rough and crinkly. If i was having a leaky day i just put a disposable on behind the cloth one so it would prevent any accident lol, but the reuseable boobie pads do feel much much nicer - and double up as reuseable cleansing pads when ur done LOL

another vote for tesco maternity towels too :)
