I dont know about retail but i work in the call centre and I cant really remember... We've got liberate of course, but as for retail discount - ive been told (via the system) we're meant to (a third springs to mind but its probably wrong lol), but then got my head well and truely bitten off by an SA in retail... so i dont know... lol.

Do you guys have access to the group intranet through retail stores? I think it says on there, might be the best solution if your boss doesnt know :)
    On the up :D

Would either of you have a UK customer services telephone number?

I bought a PAYG phone from Orange it arrived Thursday, it doesn't work to cut a long story short.

I spent nearly 5 hours over Thursday and Friday trying to sort it out, last I heard on Friday someone was ringing me back to arrange a delivery of a new handset, they would ring me that night....................ive heard nothing since.

How much are the calls per minute to Orange from a home phone? Have had to ring them that was as obviously the mobile doesn't work!

Checked on the system and premier custs get 20% off, and i remember from the premier training, that's the same as ours. therefore, i now recall, it's 20%.

shudd1967, im not sure. off an orange contract phone, its 150, the long dial for pay monthly is 07973 100 150. for PAYG it's 450, so i think itd be 07973100450, but dont quote me as i work in PAYM not PAYG im afraid.

What I have read above is a good advert for Orange. Lol

The staff don't even know what they get. Cannot find out any information for themselves.

What hope is there for their customers.

Maybe why they was recently voted one of the worst for customer services in a survey.

For the Orange retailer discount there is a form you need to fill in to get your 40% line rental discount.

You normally contact your Orange representative if you don't work for Orange but work for an independent retailer, if you do work for your Orange you should speak to your manager or call the store support line.

It's a bit worrying that no one at Orange where you are knows how to apply for the staff benefit.

you get the discount if you are on contract, I know that much for definate, i think you get free unlimited calls and texts to any orange phone, and 10% discount on all other stuff, not sure if it applies to the PAYG though.

  • Orange Liberate - currently 3 tariffs. £0. £5. £10.

    Free Orange/Orange calls. free Orange/Orange texts. 30mb incl. data. 5p x-net sms, 30p (i think) x-net calls, free 0800 numbers.

the different price tariffs simply reflect when you can upgrade and cost.

you are eligible once you have passed your probation of 3mths.

for friends/family discount (PAYM/PAYG) - it is done via Workspace on Orange Intranet. Your line manager will need to approve the request.

you can also mail Reward through Orange e-mail or contact HR pages on intranet. each store should have access to the intranet and you should be allowed to use it.

refer to your employment contract as it usually has useful links/info.

@ vietpup - you cannot get 40% line rental discount as an Orange staff, sounds like you're on the CPW employee benefit.

@ others - it seems like the OP is asking for info about Orange rewards, it's not really fair to jump the thread and request other info unrelated to the request. best to start a new thread or PM the guy if you want help.

@nomino - intranet will have most of your answers. Ask HR section, followed by your rewards, Liberate + others.
