I had a Natwest one too-for the 4th time and it's getting on my bloody nerves!

Can you not get your ISP to do a Spam Block? Mine does so I only get about 3-4 spams on my computers, the other 400 each day (honest) are blocked. All I need to do is to look at the list occasionally to release any false negatives via web-mail.

Gmail, or googlemail as it's now known, has an excellent spam filter and I rarely, if ever, see any in my inbox. All I do is log onto the web access once a month to check that nothing legitimate has been sent to the spam folder, which occasionally happens, and the rest gets deleted.

You don't even need an invite now to sign up

Had one purportedly from Abbey National this morning .. it's wonderful.

.... but at least it's improved from last week, when the same 'mail was allegedly from 'National Abbey Plc'.
