Although I can understand your aversion to things French, I have a Japanese car which was built in France and it's given me no trouble in 5 years/50,000 miles. Oil? Do you have to put oil in cars nowadays? I never have in this one. It's had an oil change once a year and that's been it.

It's a Yaris BTW.

OTOH, I did have a Citroen AXGT a few years back. It went very quickly - and rusted at a similar speed.

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
