This is the perfect local newspaper headline as it combines religion, sex, race, food and a local institution.
try this one, from my local rag on a 'slow news day':
'local man buys round'.

BNPPhew just scrolled to the end of this, forums are not generally right wing. Lots of parenting sites are thoroughly left wing - I am thinking of one as I write.
So I would say that your poll is actually quite real. People who are left wing usually have a job within the civil services and earn tons of money, therefore they can use a computer and tout their 'golden pensioned' b o l l o x on forums.0 -
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

ConservativesLet get real. Most people's vote is irrelevant. the people who decide electons are floating voters in about 100 marginal consituancies. So about 500k people.
For all the rest it doen't really matter who you vote for.
That's us:D:D Just moved from one marginal (con/lib) to another (con/lab).
Charles Kennedy turned up before the last election to meet the voters and lost if for his candidate.
I wish I had moved into a London zone though as would love to vote in the Mayoral elections. Anyone else noticed that Ken's "Vote for London" campaign shows an unmarked box by his name?:D:D:DRENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

ConservativesHe's not what I'd call a libertarian. He wanted to raise taxes for a start.
Seemed like quite a decent sort though.
Decent? The only thing I remember about him was the Paddy Pantsdown headline after he was caught cheating on his wife.

Edited to say - I should have read the whole thread first. I have just seen neverdespairgirl's reply.
Edited again now that I have read the whole thread - Guy_Montag, perhaps you should put the 2012 Olympic slogan with your OGC avatar?RENTING? He did a bit more than cheat on his wife through his career. It's not a very nice thing to do but he's hardly the first politican to do it. Frankly, I'd rather they were screwing one of the voters than all of them.

I meant the 2012 Olympic symbol - 2012

Inappropriate use of smilies. Choosing between Gordon Brown and a Conservative government is a bit like deciding whether to have dog poo or cat sick for dinner.
Neither offers much to look forward to. 0
