Hi guys! I'll think I'll join in the fun this week! :j But, could someone give me tips on how to keep up with the thread without having to spend 2/3 hours catching up on posts?!! Actually, Ive quite missed you all! I've not read any flylady threads for a couple of weeks -there were definitely babies due last time I was on here, so any news on that score?
The kitchen could do with a thorough blitz so glad to do that tomorrow. Also have an exam to do tomorrow. Signed up with Learn Direct to get my IT skills up to date. Did an initial brush up on my maths and english and now I have a City and Guilds in Maths to do. Not a 100% sure how I've ended up here, but suppose it all looked good on CV (which I've still to type up....:o ). Got a fair bit of CAB homework to. Will do one bit at a time.
Well done to your daughter embb. Hope its all good on Thursday.0 -
Was that why you had a bad back Dusty?
I haven't got a bad back, but then I haven't got wii fit either;)
Tea eaten, OH has tidied up. Kids just on the new PS2 - other one went defunct after 5 years so I used the money from the nearly new sale last week (there stuff I sold) to get a new one. £70 in Argos - not bad. They are very good and said they are very happy with that and don't want or need the new PS3 as it is really expensive and their old games wont work on it and they like their old games.
Need to try some ski stuff on all of them from the loft for when we go to centre parcs at half term. Going to pack what I need from the boxes in a bag now ready. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening all
I'm bored, starving and just waiting for the roasties to finish then we can pig out on roast dinner (it's chicken here tonight). Have spent the day putting more cr*p - I mean more 'collectables' up on the bay of e and between the stuff I put up on Friday and the stuff I put up today (35 things in total) I already have 7 firm bids and several watchers and I know one of my regular punters will buy another five. Which is nice
Weather has been awful today - the thunderstorm this morning, then gray, then a little bit of brightness, now mist but, strangely, with a wind too - must be low cloud rather than ground upwards mist - or a sea mist - if you go outside, you get damp quite quickly. Whatever it is, they are still trying, valiantly but foolishly, to play a proper cricket match on the field at the bottom of my garden. I'm surprised they can see where the ball is being hit....
I shall be in this week ladies
Mudbath - hugs for tomorrow
Newbies - welcomeI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi,
I'm in.
Congratulations to Embb's DD:beer:
I've got to take DS2 to the hospital to have his dressing changed tommorow. I'm hoping it'll be healed so the dressing can come off. It's so big i can't get his shoe on him. He needs a good run around a big field to burn off all his pent up energy;)
