little question....what time do you all get your school age children up for school? we have to leave the house at 845am and i get them up at 720am. morning are becoming more and more of a nightmare. am i giving them long enough? i normally wake them up at 720 and they can lie in bed until 730 to wake up.
well mine are 4, 3 and 7 months. We too have to leace at 845. Our mornings are like this:
6.50 alarms (I need 2) go off. I hit snooze a gazillion time
7.30 I finally get up, showered, dressed
7.50->8.05 get kids up and dressed - I have to help them and generally nag them out of bed to the loo and downstairs
8.05->8.25 teeth followed by breakfast for all 3
8.25->8.30 quickly tidy away breakfast things and get lunchboxes etc out
8.30 start shouting at everyone to get their shoes on, and tie back DD's hair
8.40 start really yelling at them to get coats on and stop playing
8.45leave house phew another day getting to school just in the nick of time

So I'd say yes they are getting long enough. Bathroom 10 mins max, getting dressed 5 mins max, breakfast need only take 15 at a push then 10 minutes coats etc comes to 45 mins round it up to an hour! Do they need to have showers or do any homework stuff ?

    Morning all

I really must not watch the 10 o'clock news before going to bed. Had some horrible dreams last night.
Right, off to work soon - my journey was 15 minutes longer than normal yesterday. Let's see how it pans out today. It's funny, it's only on the way in that I hit the queues, only v. minor delay on the way back - I think it's the way they've phased the lights. The weather's murky and grey and drizzly so that'll probably mean more cars on the road.

I'll attak the living room when I get home this evening.

    Have a good one ladies.

    Morning everyone.

Have done a quick S&S before I get ready for work. Also a tidy up.

Just me and the manager today and she doesnt help much.

I resolve not to get too stressed but we have a client who is demanding attention 90% of the time by screaming head banging etc.

Have a good flying day everyone.

Morning all. Bright sunny day here today :D Will put a wash on later as I've decided to wash my old coat & fleece and offer it on Freecycle as it's in no condition to be sold on ebay :o

Sarah is even more lovely in person, but my goodness me she has a set of lungs on her - just like her mum :p:rotfl: Took them lots of pressies, including mummy & daddy. ;)

I hardly did anything yesterday with trying to work out a budget, but its done the best I can. Just have to try and find out whats going on with the housing benefit as they still haven't contacted me to let me know although they made 2 payments into my account totalling £300 last month

I'm going to concentrate on ebay listings today, worked out I have 4 boxes of stuff to put on! I'm hoping it all sells so I can have some room back and make back the money I've spent. Another one of the purchases I made (wide fitting boots) I'm going to have to relist - I tried to wear them yesterday around the house but even with hiking socks on they're too wide and loose around the ankles  Why can't my body be in proportion?!?!?! Then there's the other pair of "sexy" boots, they're not wide enough to go around my calf-muscle, so do I relist them or not? There's about a 2inch gap at the top of the zip due to where they sit and the gap is about 6 inches long. I'm thinking no matter how much working out I do I'm not going to shrink my legs that much :( I really liked them too. :(:( Looks like I'm going to have to stick to ankle boots.

I'm also going to cut back on my list and only do level 1 this week until Friday, then I'll attack everyroom (except DD's thats her job!) to level 3 and maybe even extras so I can get all these longstanding jobs on my personal list sorted. Not forgetting I also have other things on this week.

Morning, just about to go out and get LO new shoes. She still hasnt grown out of her old ones but they are falling off her feet they are so done:o
Very confused though, just checked my online bank account and i have £300 come into my account that i dont know where it came from:confused: Have phoned the bank and all they will tell me is that it is an internal transfer. Hmmm... Want to spend it, but also dont want to incase its a mistake and they take it back:rolleyes:

Hope all the stitched, bandaged, bruised kiddiewinkles are ok today. May do some flying later, LO has her booster jabs later so may be in distraction mode later.

    Have a lovely day ladies.

    Hi everyone
I'm new to this thread and am going to try & start this week.
I noticed a few of you mentioned ebay... there is a cheap listing day on thursday when its only 5p to list anything.
A good time to put your higher value items on.
    Good luck,
