Ooooh, I'm so relieved! I've been fretting quietly about something for a couple of weeks now. You'll probably find this amusing - I do now!

A couple of weeks ago DiL asks if I've seen DS's wedding ring (which is a grey/silver titanium band) because he thinks he's dropped it somewhere. It's always been a tad loose and he wears it to work but takes it off when he gets home and it's not something I see often so couldn't describe it at all if it got lost or stolen.
I said I hadn't but then when into a quiet  eek! moment. I'd been sorting out the bureau and stuff a couple of days before and found on the floor a plain grey band which looked liked a key ring but it wasn't split - I nearly put it back in the spare key drawer of the bureau but thought what the heck so threw it in with the rubbish.

I have been fretting quietly about this all this time. Tonight, DiL is out so I casually mentioned to DS that DiL had mentioned he'd lost his ring and had he found it?

He said he had - he found it in his glove (it had obviously come off when he took his gloves off - he cycles to work). I've just done a whoopee! whoopee ! all around the kitchen.

When he looked at me like I'd gone off my rocker, I fessed up and we had a good laugh. I've told him not to tell DiL though!

I am soooo relieved - that is one less false guilt I need to carry around my head :rotfl:

Fairly good day, looks like a number of you have been very busy too.

Just had a lovely compliment of sorts from DH's boss. Apparently at lunchtime today he was envious of DH's pack up (leftover stew from the weekend) and said even his evening meals weren't as nice looking/smelling as that, to which DH responded, if you think this looks nice, then wait till you see my roast dinner i have for tomorrow. ;) Must be doing something right.

I have just got a chicken curry on for tonight, and there will be enough of that left over for a dinner for me tomorrow and a freezer portion for DH when i am in hospital.

Had a large electric bill today, so the DD for that will need to be increased, so i think i need to be a bit better and start turning things off more, and not use the TD. Will get my thinking cap on for that. I guess the gas bill will be in soon too, and then we will have that DD put up. Can't complain about that one though as they reduced it to £5 a month ages ago and it hasn't been reviewed in a good while.

Right, list check, and will get my thinking cap on for what i might achieve while DS is at nursery tomorrow.

    Evening all,

Just popping on to say hi, havent managed to catch up with todays posts and also not managed to give much thought/time to flying, I have worked taken kids to swim lessons and then taken DD2 to A&E as she split her chin on the edge of the seim pool anyway after waiting 2 1/2 hours she has three stiches in it and has gone straight to bed as I think the excitement/ shock has tired her out.

Anyway going to do HHI and then have a large G&T will think about Tuesdays list tomorrow.

Good evening everyone. Hope all is well. Been back from Mr T's for an hour or so. Spoke to my mum on the phone, have eaten a lovely dinner of twice baked potatoes - yummy! OH not very well, has been in bed since he finished at 5 so, have left him in the hopes he doesn't take a day off tomorrow! Will make his packed lunch for good measure.
