I think I've done very well today, lunch has been scoffed & I'm doing nothing else all day apart from dinner tonight & dishes before bed. Oh & stick another couple of things on eBay.
Looks like it's brightening up now, so hopefully I can go for my run later.

The filter in the fish tank seems to have stopped working, I wonder if the builder blew it when he switched off the power. I have no idea how to fix it! I will leave it til tomorrow, might need a trip to the fish shop.

    Afternoon everyone
i've had a nice walk with the dog...the sun is shining and i met loads of people i've not seen for ages so had several long chats. went and banked dd's birthday money (how come they have more savings than me - mind you that wouldn't be hard as i don't have any savings:rotfl: ).

quick question for the grocery challenge people. i've just spent £26 on food, does that come may's amount? it's stuff i do need today and tomorrow but there will be some left over on the 1st.

going to help out at school this afternoon.

oh, nearly forgot, someone had replaced my children with two angels. they were up and dressed in 15 minutes, ate breakfast in 15 minutes, decided to do tonights reading and spelling this morning and then spent 5 minutes drawing different smiley faces on the chart. no shouting, everything organised. they were lovely. i've just got to hope it lasts:T xx

Hey - look at you raphael - aren't you doin well with your list today!

DD2's rash nothing serious - just viral apparently. Looks like we're destined for yet another housebound week.

Ok, lunch, then attack the list. - although not sure what I'm having for lunch - quite possibly a mish-mash of whatever we've got in - I really need to go shopping. Don't quite need enough to do an online shop though. DD2 will be ok - got enough pasta and sauce in the freezer for her.

I don't like hovvering over builders plumbers etc, but I like to keep an eye on them :p so I thought I would get on with it.
I was at a loss for a moment when he switched off the power while he unscrewed the light fitting. No hoover, no laptop, no kettle to heat any water, no iron. I was stood in the hallway for a few minutes thinking 'what can I get on with' :rotfl:

Builder has gone now, he can't put up the boards cos there is nothing to nail them to, he's coming back tomorrow with some wooden battons to finish it.
So I'm getting the mop out & doing the bits of kitchen floor I can reach thru all his bits.
