New on here, been looking at this thread the last couple of days and think the support you offer each other on here is amazing!
Have got 5 mth old girl and trying to get motivated is difficult. Spare room full of boxes that need sorting (friend coming to stay in 2 weeks). Whole house needs de-clutter and good clean - it's so difficult not to play and coo!
Any tips on keeping baby stuff tidy - she's got lots of clothes and toys.
Congrats to Johanne - having a new baby is magic x0 -

Johanne - Sarah is beautiful - like everyone else says make the most of it - it really does fly by. On a really practical note  if you are taking photo's back them up to cd-rom/dvd/another HD not right now... but when you have found your feet and lo starts to have naps don't shout at me everyone! Just while I remembered DH had his phone stolen - which had pictures of the 1st time dd2 sat up on her own... I hadn't had a chance to download them *cries*
I still need to catch up with the tail end of last weeks thread - but I am in this week and aiming for the heady heights of level 1 on the lists (my own lists are huge  I was foolish enough to think I had finished de cluttering :rotfl: ) Plus our 1 year old shower is broken - no hot water coming out. DH took the plate off last night and plumber tiled over the thermostat - not sure about that... still no phonecall about the bloomin' lino, and sky+ has been playing up for months need to phone them. Doing my best not to feel hacked offbut the feng shui (lol sp?) of having the TD in the DR is all wrong :rotfl:
Liuhut - If it makes you feel any better my wii fit age was +20 of my actual age:rotfl: DH was -3  - the thing is I know I am really unfit - but can't handle going to a gym/class - so I am thinking of getting [STRIKE]the kids[/STRIKE] a trampoline...
1st job is to stop bleathering 2nd is to find some clothes 3rd find some worktop.... back with some news later0 -

If I was changing 10 I'd buy them all as and when (pigsback do points for screwfix!!)
I wish I'd known that before. DH has spent thousands on screwfix. I will make sure the next order goes through on pigback, thanks pigpen. I also did a huge order for Wilkos and forgot to put it through Quidco.
emmb, good luck for your DD on Thursday. I think my three will have to look in that area for work, but it is about 100 mile round trip:eek:
Forgot to say that DH eventually managed to get home at 7.30pm Saturday after leaving here in the morning. He says he told the lads where he was going! Needless to say none of them (four) can remember a conversation! They were too busy playing with their cars!
cha97michelle, I hope your dad is right, as I was told by a friend that we are in for rain for 7 days! Sorry, as it would be better for you if it is not a heatwave.
Johanne, baby Sarah is beautiful. Congratulations and well done!!
My back is still bad so I will be taking things easy today, though I am off to the gym to do a gentle stroll on the treadmill. Usually a level walk helps to ease things a bit.
