Do Credit Searches Really Affect Your Credit Rating?
Comments
-
One in Oct 2007 and one in January 2008.
Went mental in April/May in a bid to sort out my finances and get better deals. I still think that if searches have an affect it's only minimal. My view is that other factors such as salary, % of used credit, and history or repayments have a far greater influence.0 -
I think there is probably a number of applications that can be made before a lender thinks too many have been made ... and that number of applications is higher then what we expect it to be ... Based on my own experience, I think once you hit 7-10 searches in a short space of time (1-3 months) then it affects you. I say 3 months as Experian have started reporting statistical data based on the last 3 months (and 12 months):happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

How do lenders see your salary on the credit reports? My current account (even though have a positive balance) always show £0 on my credit reports.0

I think current accounts only show a balance other then zero when you are actively using an overdraft ..:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

Bad boy! I promised myself to keep off the apply button for while.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

I have ran out of lenders, banks etc, do you know any international companies that lend to UK? :rotfl:Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? Nice screenshot!
You have 11 credit accounts and the total available credit is only £1300? So on average, your credit limit is about £100 per account?0 -
