Cheapest GPRS on Pay as you go

Hi,

I have just purchased a new iphone. I would like to use a pay as you go sim in the phone only to do web browsing as and when required. But on pay as you go basis and not on pay monthly basis.

Can someone please, recommend a not catch, no hidden charges and cheaper network that i can use for this purpose. Which is simply on the basis of pay as you use.

Also, I need to be able to use all the web not just Orange web and vodafone live only.

Hope this makes sense.

T-mobile have a maximum charge of £1 a day, or you can pay up-front for usage with Three.

In that £1 can you surf as much net as you want? As long as it is the web outside the T-Mobile's own branded web. Can you confirm?

Iphone is not 3g compatible.

I've used T-mobile £1 a day many times ( also previously their £7.50 the month add-on to contract)- usually very good - not prefect for damn good value - GPRS is slow, but if signal and phone are upto it , you can use 3g signal which is good.
