the rule about displaying business addresses is not in place until May. I'd be more inclined to be worrying about my own business, rather than somebody elses.

I can see no reason why a PO box would not be acceptable.

You may not be Ebay do: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/contact-information.html

    Please note that:
    • PO Box addresses are not considered to be geographic addresses, and will not be accepted as a valid business address.

That is probably why they have put 'Unit 281' instead of PO box 281. Dodgy but clever.

Urextras Co. Ltd doesn't check out as a limited company in the UK could this be a breach of the rules?

That's a virtual address, which is allowed apparantly.

I don't see why, given they clearly list their HK headquarters address.

eBay hve made it clear that "geographical" addresses will only be accepted, yet I believe the e-commerce regulations merely state a correspondence address.

It would help if eBay adopated the same policies as UK law - similar to the ban on samurai swords. UK law has only banned a certain type of sword, yet eBay have banned them altogether.

I'm guessing this is a Power Seller? aka above the eBay law...

Their DSRs mean they are well within the rules. Also the changes means companies like these are going to be in effect self regulating. Their low DSR (below 4.3 on postage) means item visibility will be lower, they also don't qualify for discounts, which would be fees of 40% of around 10,000 listings not saved, that's a big chunk of their profits. Then the new feedback rules means they will inevitably get more negatives, which means they are more likely to be suspended.

Just ftr - on the items i sell the FVF's are tiny (under 20p), but PayPal fees are around 40p - a 40% discount on FVF's wouldn't affect me much - it's not a 40% total fee reduction.
Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.

20p per item for 10,000 items is £2,000, a 40% reduction is a £800 saving a month. As that covers the increase they will have a big chunk coming off their profits.

The reduction of 40% is available for platinum powersellers, which from feedback, I'd say the seller mentioned is.
