I make ceramic jewellery but would really like to get into silversmithing too.

At the moment when I want to add charms to my pieces I add ones that I have bought from ebay - they've got a really wide choice on there. I got some really huge fairy charms the other day that I added to my pendants.

Here are some pics of my work.

  • oh dear - sorry they are huge - I will try and resize them.
  • I'm sorry - resized them in photobucket to half the size but they are havn't changed on here, even deleted the originals and reposted but to no avail - if you want me to take them down just let me know.

Fuzzymonster - they are absolutely gorgeous!!

Girl - I think the ones on facebook should work. If, when you go into the properties, it shows an address, then I think it will work hth x

Fuzzymoneymonster they are beautiful! Have you thought about using PMC / Art Clay at all if you want to start using silver? I think that would suit/compliment your clay style quite well as some of it could be made in a similar way (and if you presumable have a small kiln or access to one you may be able to use that for firing rather than a blowtorch). Its kind of expensive though...

Right, on Facebook you need to use the link at the bottom of the pic not the one in the address bar! Click on the photo and at the bottom you should see something like this:

    Hi :D

    Here's my jewellery www.lizzycjewellery.etsy.com

I did a year long jewellery making course (with qualification) about 4 years ago at my local adult education centre. This led me to becoming self employed and selling jewellery in local shops.

I highly recommend evening classes (or day courses if they're more suitable). Most courses are for those who do jewellery as a hobby or would like to give it go!

I've had a whizz through the thread and love all the pics! :)
